The Lichens of Jersey

Jersey has a wide range of lichen habitats and the island makes an ideal subject for a book on this fascinating group of organisms. As the birthplace of one of the great nineteenth-century field lichenologists, the Jerseyman Charles du Bois Larbalestier, the importance of Jersey as an area for the study of lichens is underlined. The book is fully illustrated with habitats and lichen photographs in honour of the contribution made by Larbalestier.

Written by Simon Davey with Amanda Davey, this book is published by the Société Jersiaise and was launched in Jersey in November 2015. Copies have sold across the world.
